Hi there, I am Paula Hickson and am a proud mommy of two gorgeous boys, Ryan and Brandon and a wife to an extremely supportive and loving husband and have the best family in the world!!
I am also a Children/Family Lifestyle Photographer. My passion for taking pictures exploded when I had my first son and hasn't slowed down since then.HA You can ask my boys and hubby about that!!!
My style of photography is very casual and real. I am not your normal, sit and pose type of photographer. I am an all natural light, on site photographer, meaning your images will be captured at your favorite park, your home etc, or I can also suggest locations for great images. I want to capture you and your children as you are in real life. My portfolio ranges from fun and silly to moody, serious black and whites. I am all about lots of fun, vibrant, funky colors as well, I love it all, as long as it's real moments captured. {One of the most gorgeous mom and daughter pairs EVER!}

I am soooooo happy today that two of my repeat clients/friends didn't have to reschedule because of the bad lightning and almost down pour of rain that was coming almost as soon as we arrived on location!!! These lovely ladies are two of my favorite people to spend time with and what a bonus to actually be able to photograph them!!! The camera LOVES them both and makes my job all the easier!!! Mr.Devin...What a sweet little soul!!

I had a great time today meeting with my oldest son's, friend, Devin.....He was a little shy at first because he thought he didn't smile nice!! well I have news for Mr.Devin....he shined in front of the camera!!! Total pleasure photographing this little guy!!!

It's Official..sigh

My once, "more than happy to let mom follow him around with her camera, youngest son, now has PCS..for those of you who aren't familiar with PCS, this is what it is(Photographer's Child Syndrome")and the symptoms are horrible!! LOL It's true, and I'm sad.....All I ever want is a couple cute shots of his cute little, chubby face that make my heart melt BUT nooooooo, I guess that's just too much to ask of this little 5yr old!! hehehehehe I am often asked, "where are all the pics of your boys, Paula?" well, here they are!!! Enjoy!! hehehehehe I love this little guy to pieces! He and his big brother make my heart happy!
